General Mills is a national retailer of cereals, snacks, and other processed foods. They also make baby products and baby food products.
General Mills has been getting into a bit of a labor dispute recently with a union of workers who manufacture the company’s baby products. Many people don’t realize that General Mills has been in a contract dispute with its workers since April 2009. The union, which is the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), said the company’s contract with workers is not good and they want it to be re-evaluated.
General Mills has a $13 billion dollar annual sales and is a Fortune 100 company. With that much money, they should be able to pay their workers a decent wage and still have a healthy company. They have said they want to negotiate with the AFSCME union and they hope they can resolve the issues. For now though, if the negotiations end badly, it will be a big blow to General Mills.
General Mills has a long history of employing and working with people who disagree with them and are not willing to compromise with them. Even when they talk about what they dislike or dislike about their work, they don’t give a shit about me.
Like most companies, General Mills has trouble finding people who want to be a part of their company. These workers might be willing to work for less than they were paid, but they are not willing to take the job or even stay for the money that they are making. This is not a problem that General Mills can cure.
The company is struggling as they have laid off almost 1.5 million workers since 2011. This is just the tip of the iceberg though. General Mills is losing over 2 million jobs every year. So with the economy the way it is, General Mills is going to need to either pay employees more or reduce the size of the workforce more.
The company has just announced that they will be laying off nearly 70% of their workforce, and they haven’t even started the process of reducing the size of the workforce. They are laying off about 1.5 million workers, but don’t expect they will lay off the entire workforce. Most of the workers they laid off are mid to upper level employees and there will be fewer new hires. They will probably be making more on the $10 an hour they were making before the layoffs.
General Mills has been the victim of a lot of recent layoffs, but I have to say that it feels as though they really did get under the hood and had a lot of success doing so. I mean, if you think about it, General Mills is one of the largest food manufacturers in the country, and they are one of the largest employers of workers in the United States. Their stock price has been falling steadily for the past 2 years.
The next step in the development of General Mills is the launch of the second-ever online video game, “Giant Armor,” which I think is a game that will be better than the other games that have gone down. This is a game that will also feature weapons. I would probably call it a giant armor game, one of many in the game, because of the way it has a bunch of weapons. But I personally prefer “Giant Armor” because it’s got lots of weapons.
